hey guys, just wondering where can i buy a compresion test kit that will work with a magna, and wot Kpa am i look for ??

The manual lists 1200kPa @ 250-400rpm as a normal value, and 890kPa @ 250-400rpm as the lower limit. Any good parts shop will have one; make sure that it's got a long stem that'll reach the spark plug port.

Some have a rubber bung on the end which means you have to exert downward pressure on it while cranking the engine - a bit awkward if you are working by yourself! Try to get one with a screw on end, it winds into the plug hole, and has a one way check valve to retain the reading. That way you can screw it in, and crank the engine, then read the gauge. Haven't seen one for a Magna, but I know they come with adapters.

Most compression testers these days come with an assortment of different fittings to suit all makes and models, but it comes at a price.
As posted above you should be able to pick on up at most reputable parts stores e.g. autobarn, supercheap, repco etc...
