just curious to know what it means when an engine mount cracks...
Also, how do they crack (old age, thrashing the engine, etc etc)

Thrashing probably adds to the problem, but some young Magnas seem to get broken engine mounts too.

The front engine mount (behind the washer water bottle) usually breaks and I think it's because it takes most of the force of the engine because of the engine's orientation.

I've attached a picture of my old engine mount which 1 week earlier was reported as "fine" by a Mitsubishi dealer. Also attached is the RPW replacement engine mount for comparison.
