hi every one i have a small issue the other day i removed my needles to remove the dial face and scan it(was editing them on photo shop lol anyway back on topic) after scanning them i put the cluster back together and now having the following problems
1:speedo is about 10Kmh in front (if i set speed alarm to 60 it beeps speedo showing around 70)
2:the rpms are also in front not sure by how much
3:The most important is the fuel gauge it will not budge :eeek: the low fuel waning light in the speed alarm will come on though
so is there any way i can fix them so i dont haft go out and buy a cluster (saving cash for climate control conversionlol)
Thankyou

you are going to need to rest the cluster the speed one car be done with any gps ok first you will need to take the plastic of and the speed needle and go on the freeway and look at the gps set in at 100kms then put the needle back on at 100kms that will fix that one now for the fuel fill you tank up and then put the needle to full and thats should fix that one and for the rev's you just take the needle off start the car then put the needle back on about 1 Or make it easy take it to Howard Instruments at Heidelberg Heights Ph:(03) 9457 4755 l take cluster there before work is good and price is to bad, Hope this helps you out.

A general tip for this:
Warm the car up to operating temp before removal and take a photo.
Remove cluster and go about what you plan on doing.
this is the bit people don't really do and stuff it up.
Before put the cluster back in DON'T put the needles back on yet.
1, Warm the car back up say idle for 15 minutes
2,place the cluster back in its spot
3, look at the photo and put in place the temp, the fuel and the rev SAME AS IT LOOKS IN PIC don't push to hard yet
4, To redo the speedo needle in a place where 2 cars can drive along side each other, same make EG: Magna with same size wheels and get the speedo reading place on the needle and its done. Go home remove he cluster and push the needles on firmly and then replace the clear cover and fit back into place

hi every one i did the above last night they are all working fine except for the fuel gauge it started moving again and now it wont stop moving :tantrum: it moves up then back down is there anything else i could do to fix it
Thankyou
Pull the cluster out again, part of the flexible contacts is probably bent - this will cause the fuel gauge to get inputs from something else.
I had the same issue with the fuel needle not moving at all; I haven't actually tried to fix it yet so it still doesn't move. With the speed, GPS's aren't super accurate. Just use your speed alert. Set it to 60 and accelerate slowly until you get the alert. Then get a passenger to reach over and put the needle on 60 while you hold the speed.

If your cluster is no longer any good, I do have some spares here incuding Sports and White dial units
