my tp magna is auto and if im in 3rd gear and i let go of the accelerator the revs will drop (off cource) and then they will drop even further to like 1100 and i know its not going into 4th but the car slows down faster you know like in gear one how the car slows down quicker when you let go of the accelerator then as the car gets slower it will rise up to 1500 and go back to normal also sometimes if i turn over drive on it will drop the revs but the rpm goes all over the place for a few sec normally when i decerate sort of like the car tries to drop to idle speed and then jumps up again i got the car elctronically tuned and the tps was adjusted but i adjusted the idle and i hear that if you adjust the idle it can take the car completely out of whack what does anyone think reset the ecu ,get a service has anyone ever had this prob

Reset ECU
Change fluid and filter
Lock it in 1st and flog the tits off it
then 2nd


should be right after that

when you do it and are draining the tranny fluid.... jack the drivers side up as HIGH AS POSSIBLE to remove as much from the torque converter as possible.

If ur REAL keen you can drain then fill it with turps (turps is a very thin oil and wont hurt it) then crank it for a few seconds then empty that then fill with normal fluid half way then drain then totaly fill... cost about 60 bucks for all that fluid but u can bet you'll have fresh fluid!

ive figured out its not the tranny thats the prob i disconnected the idle speed motor set the base idle and drove around a bit and it didnt have the prob it has something to do with the idle problem im having its like its trying to stick to 3 different idles its very annoying kmarts efi guy came out and he set it some wiered way and then i took it somewere else and they couldnt fix it so yeah not the tranny i just have to fix the idle prob somehow
