ecu is probably just relearning. Give it a couple days (around 100km+)

Yeah, this is very common.. the ECU gets reset when you lose power and has to re-learn your shift patterns, mixtures, some idle crap, etc..
if you search for "reset ecu" you will see many such threads.. there was a document floating around on a good way to give it a basic learning pattern.. but if you just drive it for a bit it'l sort itself out.
Don't stress!
umm tj verada 97 model
Umm...?
TJ = Magna 00-03
97 = KE/KF Verada, TE/TF Magna
Guessing its a KE/KF Verada?

Thats fot the auto, to let the engine ECU relearn just disc the neg again for a few secs. Then start the car and let it idle with all accessories off for like 15mins.

No need to wait several days, or 100+km. Just take it for a drive for about 30min, and you will find it will settle itself.

Mitsu claims 40 key starts and the system learns the driving habits. Not the amount of km driven.
Regardless, ridiculous system - I don't need a computer tell me how to drive. Why can't it just be certain setting and work fine, like older auto'boxes used to!! Wonder if that "learning" system could be disconnected?
Cannot attach the Re-Learn .doc for ppl to save and keep - no attach option found!

I say 100km or a couple of days as it would have certainly fixed itself up by then. If you say 30mins and it takes 35, there is bound to be someone on here complaining it took too long lol ;)
