Hi everyone,

After doing a search i realized that i will need a 3.7mm spacer to fit rear awd rotors, whats the maximum tolerance with that? Would a 3mm or 5mm do the trick? I went to few shops the only ones that i could find are either 3mm or 5mm which one would be better, i guess 3 since its only 0.7mm out as apposed to 5mm which is 1.3mm out. Has anyone done this???

Contact Shannon at Hoppers Stoppers (http://www.hoppers.com.au/), tell him you're from AMC & what you need.

He can have it made for you & will ship it to you as well. They have the design/ plans for it from a previous group buy.

If this car is for public road use, I'd be careful about this small requirement from the RTA:

- the fitment of wheel spacers (or adaptors for dual wheel conversions) between the wheel mounting
face and the road wheel is not permitted unless fitted as original equipment by the vehicle
manufacturer.

From my experience it's normally frowned upon as much as cut springs.

The spacer actually sits in between the hub and the brake rotor, leaving the wheel free to mount as usual.

Yep it sure does.... It is fitted inside rotor's hat & since its only 4mm its impossible to detect unless you take the rotor off. i have contacted hoppers via email will wait till they reply...
