OK so Ive got the tippy conversion and it was way to hot to work on the car in the garage today so didn't get round to it installing the loom yet... but dad has asked if he can borrow the car for a couple days next week (as i dont have my licence atm :cry::cry::cry:) and i dont have the ecm unlocked yet. so my question is if i install the new loom will my old ecm still work??? or with the new different loom is it going to go nuts????

You will need to get it all unlocked first of course, The engine should run ok when unlocked and in theory the trans will also shift fine as you are not in tippy mode at all

To be honest I have not tried to run this way and the only way to find out will be to try or better still just pop your old ecu back in as is only 10mins to pop that back in

ok so the old ecm should still run with the tippy loom???? and shifter??? just not tippy of course????
when u have a chance i would like to get the ecm unlocked...
