will 225/50/16 fit on a 6in rim. thinkin about takin the r32 rims and spacers off. got some 16in steelies in the shed from late model magna, might put these on instead.

I think tr1 is asking about the width of the tyre being suitable for the width of the rim, not the diameters matching.

As for them fitting, it might depend on the specific tyre.

the max tyre width for a 6" rim is 205mm.

But then, my factory tyres are 215 on 6" wide rims, so who knows.

Personally, I would think that a 225 tyre on 6" rim would probably be fine, but others will disagree with that.
Maybe on a small car it would be oK, but on a big Magna, the extra weight & cornering forces may just make the tyre pop off the rim.

down load the app and use it to check rim width/offset combos AND rolling diameter checks for new rim and tyre combos.

These 2 things alone if this app is stickied should nigh on end all questions about rims and rim fitment

problem fixed found some secondhand 16x7 mags. car feels much better now not wandering anymore
