I've noticed that with the air blowing quite strongly out the front of the dash that not a lot appears to be coming out of the rear vents at the back of the console. Is this normal or something I should get looked at under warranty?
My Falcon pushes out way more air out the back so I was wondering if it's my car or normal for a 380.
Thanks

My rear vents don't do a lot and yes I think it's normal.

Yeah, not a lot comes out but don't forget, almost invariably it is a lot cooler in the back seats than the front. the front has a glasshouse environment where the back is mostly closed in. My passengers in the back are always asking me to turn the a/c con up.

few things to consider.
-as you guys already pointed out the initial temp may be marginally cooler (depends how long its been out in the sun:P)
-think about it the fan is in the front of the car meaning there is a lot less distance for the air to lose momentum in.
-dont need to be powerful where does the air from the front go, once its passed you - into the back so another strong vent in there would be overkill.
i also find the passengers in the back are often telling me to tur the aircon up.(ie temp up)

Next to nothing in the back from mine. I initially thought there was something wrong however if you check out the owners manual, I think the diagram there depicts only small amount of air gets to the rear vents. It blows a storm out of the rear vents of the Falcon work car I use from time to time.

Yes, same with my XR8, but the Falcon also has sliders to shut each vent off, something I can't believe they ran out of money for on the 380?
I am used to lots of air to the back so was wondering if it's normal for a 380 and it seems it is.
I wonder if I could convince a dealer it was faulty and see if they could ever fix it? :woot:
What am I thinking? Dealers are the best at giving out this free advice: "they're all like that".......:eek2:

Yep mine too.
Looks like the dealers are on to something here..... I does seem that "they're all like that".......
