today i decided to do a ecu restart thingy (removed negative side of battery for 15mins and put it back on)
and after 2 hours later i went to leave to work and then as i came to a stop the car dropped the rpm to 200 and the back up to 1000 and then DIED.
need some help or any ideas why this is happening :(
(car is auto)

Did you tighten the negative terminal completely?

Did you leave the car idling for about 15 mins once you connected the terminals back? This has to do with the ECU relearning the mixtures and the idle speeds. Sometimes it helps to adjust the base idle to slightly higher then later down the track reduce. Might stop your stalling problem. But it IS normal for the vehicle to stall when re-learning. I'd give it a few days or so or about 100kms OR drive it for 30 mins...As long as the car can start everything is OK.
EDIT: I found this in the original forum...might help
Umm...?

Happens with a ECU reset, you can try leaving it idling for 15 min
or just keep it alive with throttle while driving and it'll come right
Yeah, wot mezzi-24 said
