i was talking to another 1st gen owner bout spoilers and being original when i thought, it would be incredibly original if ya put a lip on the boot as opposed to a spoiler ... not so much in the commo style but more like the rubber lips on escorts
i think if u get the right shape with the right curve it could look really sweet .... n maybe leave it black or paint it the same colour as the car i dunno .... but yer it was just a thought

yeah theres another type of body kit that has the boot lip thing ur talkin about for the 1st gens.. it might be an aftermarket type cos i dont htink it came standard on any production model. its basically the same as ya elante kit only smaller and slightly better fitting, and its also got the boot spoiler lip. pretty sure i saw it in one of the books at the spoiler shop in perth

boot lips kinda say "we want a spoiler kinda thing, but we cant be ****ed drilling any holes" boot lips, like the commos, are urgly! Id never get one.
