Hey guys does anyone know where i could find the circuit diagrams for the 3rd gen remotes? preferably the one for the 2000 TH. I'm doing elec engineering at uni and we need to do a pcb project and was thinking i could whip up a new remote for myself. if i got good at it i could even start selling them to amc members (theyd be pretty cheap)

I doubt you'd find this.. the main problem is they're most likely "code hopping" i.e. not simple to wire up... probably a microcontroller with some firmware? Plus it's a proprietary product so a circuit diagram is very unlikely.


Only hope would be to reverse engineer it and if its an MCU (no idea what it is) dump the ROM... even if its simple (no MCU) you'd still need to reverse engineer it.

hmmm. this was pretty much what i was thinking but i thought might as well give it a try.
