Does anyone have the plan or layout for how to fit the factory original roof racks as seen on the verada and sportswagons?
Cheers!

You will not be able to fit them bud as the brackets in the factory fitted ones are spot welded inside the roof support frame when the car is built. I recently wrecked a sports wagon and they are both riveted and glued in. I would imagine these are placed on the skin prior to it being welded to the car

I thing there "may" have been a slightly different set that dealers put on but am not sure

What madmagna said.....We made one set of brackets for the factory fit roof racks, but there was also a set of brackets made to fit after the car had been built. Thats was because when they tested the roof rack without any brackets the roof panel collapsed, so we had to design a panel that could be fitted to the bodies that had already been built. Not sure if they became a production item for after market fit though. You will need to check with a mitsi dealer.
