i had my lukey magnum flow muffler (2779) installed and had the last section of piping ovwer the rear suspension replaced as well, last section was only 2" now its all 2.5". I had left the muffler alone because i thought there was already a lack of backpressure with my extractors and other mods. i just did the muffler now so it wouldnt need an extra dyno tune after turbo goes on later.
anyway i wasnt expecting any gain except for maybe a little bit of top end, but it is turned out way better right through now, more responsive and free reving right from idle through to redline, less throttle needed to cruise too. despite it had 170hp atw already it wasnt quite right, i reckon this full pipe and muffler has fixed what was wrong and added about another 10hp, feels like its crying for a cam now

and its only loud pulling up steep hill but other wise driving just a very nice low growl.

pretty sure the stock pipe is 2¼" but who gives a rats arse.... what muffler did you have before? cause the stock ones are really restrictive! any straight through muffler will make a difference!! the 2779 is good choice IMO, not noisey, nice note, and lets people know it when you plant it

was stock muffler b4, but my piping actually stepped down to only 2", im sure that has a lot to do with the improvement as well. btw it straight away blew off a VX commo exec by a clear margin before even speeding, 2 lights in a row lol
