gday guys, my TR elite wont start, the only noise i can hear under the bonnet when trying to crank it is what i assume to be some sort of fuel pressure solenoid near the fuel rail. nothing else, the starter doesnt even make any noise at all.
battery is a fresh 530cca.
the fuses under the bonnet seem to be ok.
any ideas?
cheers

so the starter doesnt turn at all?
is this noise similar to a heavy click? if so then your starter motor is dead

hmmm. can you rollstart it or is it auto?
maybe youve blown the starter fuse (if there is a specific one)

i wish, but its an auto.
where would i find the starter fuse? ive looked at the ones in the engine bay but none mention starter.
ive got a funny feeling it may be something wrong with the factory alarm

No there is no starter fuse. Starter motor has a direct feed from the battery with no fuse (main positive)
Things to try (what I know anyway)
Actually make sure the solenoid is getting a signal from the key. Its a black wire with a yellow trace, put a test light on the end of the wire and get a mate to crank it, should light up.
may have a seized starter motor. But if you get no signal at the solenoid you will know that there may be a problem with the alarm/immobilizer
