hey guys, mate of mine has a 87 vl 6cyl auto, he doesnt know much about cars and took it to a mechanic to have a look at it. got told he needs front shock cam to be replaced ~$100.. ive never heard of such a thing, and i dont think he was talking about camber adjuster.. anyone have any ideas of what it may be?

Never heard of it either... but I didn't know what a 'Harmonic Balancer' was untill I did light vehicle at Tafe, (Told the teacher "Oh sure sir, it's over here next to the flux capacitor!")

Still $100 aint bad to get you car on the road.
