Supercar Engineering make dry sump's for racing applications for 6G72 motors. I know different motor but may be useful. (note, expensive as all hell)

"The oil supply cavitates in the pan"???? You mean G forces move the oil away from the pickup? Dry sump would fix that, or baffles in the sump with one way doors.
The 380 wasn't meant to be race car, drive it like one and things will go wrong!

Anyone got pictures of a 75 sump? Ive got tons of pictures of 72 and 74 sump's.
The guys that race the 3.8 Magna's over here have fitted custom baffles to their sumps....a cheap easy cure!

Forgot to mention they use 3.5 sump to fit in the Magna though....but still..

Any reason for that Zero?
Only cause the 3.8 sump wont fit into the Magna.

That's interesting Blackstar. I certainly push my car hard, at the edge of adhesion, often. Corners taken include 270 degree flyovers where the car is under some G for a sustained time. Although I'm not using high revs - more like 2500-3000rpm - I like to accelerate out under hard throttle from early in the corner.
Are you saying this type of driving is a risk?

Well if thats anything like the 72 and 74 its in the middle towards the timing belt side of the motor. There are some baffle type things in the 72 and 74 sump already, not sure about 75 although i doubt would be much different.
if its any consolation, this is a major issue on the 72/74 DOHC motors they use in the 3000GT's. spun bearings are as common a blown brake lights on the 3si.org forums. however most of that is due to the sump being damaged, damaging the pickup in the process, starving it of oil at high rpm.
best bet would be to sign up to a forum like club3g or 3si.org and have a look at what they've done to overcome the issue, cant say much more that, so hope that helped a fraction.
For comparison pictures, this is the sump off a 6G74 DOHC, notice the baffle is removeable (not sure if its the same on a SOHC 74)

So the common theme is oil starvation at high rpm while under sideways G.
I don't think I need to worry - I'm building revs when coming out of corners, not screaming at the limiter about to change into the next gear. I do that when I'm reasonable straight
