Can anyone remind me the offset required for replacement 19" mags for the 380 and what did you guys do with your old 17"mags?

Is 45 close enough?

It depends on the tyres and whether you have stock springs or lowered springs.

For Kings lows, if you go with 245/40R19 then you will need +46 offset to prevent rubbing on the rear wheel arches. But they might foul on a suspension component or two.

If you go with 245/35R19 like I have then +38 offset seems to be the go. Works a charm, no rubbing anywhere under any conditions, even with a full back seat & boot and over dips at speed.

The lower the + offset number, the more the tyres 'stick out' and fill the wheel arches. Good for clearing the suspension components, but not good for clearing wheel arches.

The best site I know for checking out these things is this one: http://www.rimsntires.com/rt_specs.jsp

Mine came with 16s, which I swapped with the 17s on my trade in TE Magna. I then sold the 17s (not to a member).

Cheers kj380, as I have kings lows +38 seems to be the way to go. Does that offset limit choice of wheel?

Whats the going price (roughly) with say 50% tread

Don't know for sure, but I suspect you'll find a greater range in +38 than you will in +46, at least in 19s.

Check out the various wheel sites (there's plenty of them) and see what you find.

Then shop around for the best deal.

Just watch out for Fleabay wheel & tyre package deals that look good but involve cheap & crappy Chinese tyres.

Sold mine for $600 for all 4 including nuts, prolly about 20% tread though.

I should have kept them, they were damn nice GT wheels.

Spot on!!! I have 245/40 (35 offset) with King Lows and they still rub on the rear from time to time with the guards rolled. I sold my 17's on ebay for $650 with plenty of rubber left.
