Having Series II VR-X I was curious as to the differences between the Series I and II. As far as I can tell from the little information that is out there, it seems to be the mags.

Series 1 - 16" and Series II - 17"

Are there any other differences that anyone else is aware of?

Don't quote me on this but I also think the Series I has the more ugly green and black type of interior trim on the seats also whereas the series 2 one is a little less tacky.

Yeah trim patterns were freshened but still retained same pattern. Also slightly reworked shift pattern in the semi-auto's...and I do mean slight. And this is all i'm aware of.

To add to the post referenced by VRX_MY02, my Sports doesn't have the Series II badge on the boot, but it does have the digital tacho and trip computer in the instrument cluster. There is a very blurred line between Series I and Series II.

Yeah I have a series II tj sports 03 model which has all the mod cons of the series II vrx except for the 17inch wheels they still got the 16 inchers from the series I but it is definitly a series II it says so on the badge. :cool: :cool:
