The button on top of the shift fell off tonight >.<
I've tried putting it back but it wont click back in, any one know where I can just get the button replaced or do I have to replace the unit?
See the spring preventing it from going down unless pushed, hence the gap.

looks like the clips that hold it have broken, mine is the same. You just replace it with another.
Wreckers will have them, just be careful removing them as they tend to snap.
Though better to get the top off the shifter shaft from the same model

Same thing happened to shifter in my car as well. I've removed the spring and the button just sits in there. Doesn't really bother me.

A new button should be around the $10 mark at Mitsubishi.

You can just push the bit in the middle down, that's what I did today cause It doesn't stay on right now >.<

Prity common problem in commodores in my experience, never seen it in a magna before thou, there usually cheap as chips to buy, hard part is getting the old one out although that looks like it just clips in, hence the old one is already out...
