Brake light built into the spoiler in my 2003 AWD no longer works.
It looks like a LED light. What do I need to replace it?
Thanks

have the same issue actually...mine doesn't work anymore (crack in the middle to top it off)...but if Sockeye doesn't want it and it fits mine then yeah why not. Any idea where we can find these online. I do remember someone telling me my spoiler is from a TJ so I'm guessing it fits. Although any info to help both Sockeye and I in finding one of there would be handy. But from my experience I'm guessing a simple replacement through pulling the screws out and then cutting the cable and a simple duck tape would do to reattach the cables? Seeing as it goes inside the spoiler I don't see any other way?

i replaced mine on my ralliart spoiler from mitsubishi would be the same as a standard spoiler. it has a plug too so there is no need to cut the wires unless its a aftermarket spoiler

See now mine doesn't have the plug. It simply had the two screws (left and right) and if I remove those the light comes off but its got a cable attached that runs through hole in the spoiler. I might trace it tomorrow to see where it comes out...perhaps a loose connection? but does that mean its aftermarket? Not sure...car came like that.

well your car is a TE/TF they were never factory fitted with the VRX spoiler, so it has been fitted by the previous owner, spoiler may be aftermarket or genuine
