not sure how to do it on the 2.4 but on my 3.0l it did ad more power but all so more noise

Its exactly the same procedure for the whole Magna range from what i've been told.

and the procedure is......

People just generally unbolt them and replace them with an equal length of pipe the same diameter in size as thier original exhaust.

Sometimes they have been welded on so an exhaust shop will cut them off and replace them with straight through pipe.

They are pretty basic so the job is pretty basic but your exhaust note will be much lounder.

The resonator is like a muffler before the muffler if that makes any sense.

apparently so, more on the 2.4's for some reason. But its worthwile so everyone who has done it says. i'll be having mine done when i do my exhaust to match the kit.

It does provide a negligible gain.. but if u remove the cat con as well.. you will feel the difference.. did that to my old Mivec Lancer back home....
