Hey today I took out my H/U (stock magna one) from my 2000 Exec TH. When I plugged it back in it come up with Error 1 which means that it needs the security code. I don't know mine, and I haven't checked manual yet or called the Mitsubishi dealer but i put in 1111 and it worked but the LCD flashes and it then resets itself after 2-3 mins. Whats happening????:wtf:

Code should be in the Service books you need to enter that code or talk to your dealer.

Call Mitsubishi Australia on their customer assistance line, they can give it to you for free, I just had to provide them with my current registration papers via email or fax. They are pretty damn quick as well, it took them less than 5 minutes to call me back once I did this. If you are in a hurry I think this is the only way to go. Before this I called every dealer within 20kms of me (Sydney) and none of them would do it over the phone, and some wanted to charge me $45!

I was luckly when my mechanic disconnected my battery the code needed to be put in for the radio to work, the mechanic then called the local Mitsu dealer and they gave him the code. I didn't have to prove ownership.

Cool, so pretty much I just need to get the code. This is what I thought I just thought it was weird that it would work for a bit then reset. If I put in a different code it didn't work only 1111. Hmmmmmmm......
