OK so Ive got a fault code since Ive put the new ecm in... checked the fault code (42/43 out put speed sensor) removed sensors and cleaned readjusted inhibitor switch etc etc. Now my question is how do i clear the fault codes??? i did a search but didn't really come up with anything clear.... reason i'm asking is the fault is still coming up after a couple of minutes and am trying to work out whether or not the fault is in the ecm or the car wiring.... my next step tomorrow will be to swap ecm's and see if it still coming up but, am trying to avoid that....

Switch the ignition Off
Disconnect the negative battery terminal for 20 seconds.
Confirm that no fault codes are present.
Bring the engine to normal operating temperature and run it at idle speed for 10 minutes.
