today i was changing my parker bulbs to philips blue vision ones and i broke 2 out of the 3 pins of one of the H4 bulb because it was stuck so damn hard into the connector. anyway, i thought it was gone but with the pins still stuck in the connector, i tried to see if it worked if i just plugged it in again. basically now the connector and bulb are only held together by a single pin. the electrical connections through the 2 broken pins seem to still be touching the wires/metal bits inside the bulb cos when i turn the lights on they still shine. so my question is: is it dangerous/problematic to leave it as it is since it's still working? the connector is a little loose now cos it's only held by 1 pin... but any danger of it falling out and causing trouble there? ppl with good auto-electrics knowledge pls help!

They're stuck in pretty damned hard. I almost broke mine too when changing my globes.

I suppose it would be okay since there's a waterproof water seal covering the globe, but you are eventually going to have to get them out. Why not do it now and remove the risk of the headlight going out and getting pulled over by the cops for it.
