I am looking at getting a precut tint pack from the states for the new TF solara that i just bought.
The tint pack is made for a 98 diamante, Are the Aus delivered and the US version got the same size windows or are they different?

Thanks

should be the same. Pretty sure the glass stayed the same right through from te to tl.

Just out of interest, how much is the pre cut tint costing? You can normally get someone to do it all for you for about $200

Tinting isn't expensive but DIY can be .... I'd get a professional with a workshop not a mobile one.

Have to agree with Johnnyred. It is worth the extra $50- $100 to have a pro shop do it.
Minus the headaches, getting it to fit perfect with no bubbles and the risk it being cheap film which in a yr+ will turn purple and bubble anyway. VS A guy doing it for a job, using quality tint, with the best gear and with a 12mth min warranty.

Seriously, get it done in a shop(done 3 cars myself and compared to pro shops, I've never touched it since).

Um I am pretty sure I posted this link in the EBAY thread few months back and the rear cutouts are completely different to the Aus Magnas to the Diamantes. Buyer be ware! Really you can get it done at the shops for $200..... not that much?

3rd gen magnas are the same body as a 2nd gen Diamante. Its the 2nd gen shape TR-TS which has all 4 windows different to a diamante. I know for fact.
You will be fine buying tint from OS for a "TE+" diamante.

cheers for that. and tinting is very easy. i have done it on 4 of my cars now and one that i did when we first got it 4yr ago. aslong as you take your time and dont rush it and prep it right you will be fine.
$200......? I would love to know where, cheapest i have found was $400 and i have to remove the old tint (which is simple and not a problem)

Thanks for the advice on the diamante

Another thing to check is that the Tint from the USA isn't too dark for your local Regulations.
I had my other cars done here in adelaide previously by a company called JTI (just Tint it. They are great will tint it as dark as legal and warranty was good like 2 years. Was only like $250 for a whole wagon and that included taking the old tint off. Tint a car are good and priced well too but when i replace my tint on my TE will be getting the boys to come and do it again.
