Hey guys i own a 96 TE Magna and i had some spare Narva Ultra Blue 80% More light 20% Whiter Light globes lying around so i decided to chuck them in and they are a bit better but the distance is still shocking. I popped my bonnet and got the screw driver into the adjusting screw and it was turning and then bottom gear on the back of the casing was moving but the headlights were moving at all?

How would i go about fixing this ? because i need to readjust them myself !

Only the inner part of the headlight moves when you adjust it, glass does not move. You only want a couple of degrees up, you won't see that movement. Find a blank wall at night and try the adjustment again.

Could also be that they are buggered, the reflector is what moves, the pins for a lack of a better word are what move this. Check when you turn the adjuster that the pin that goes into the light is also turning.

It is common for these go get jammed up with dirt etc
