Hey guys,
I think my starter motor is died.
Symtoms:
- hard to crank when starting. (thought it was battery, changed battery still the same issue)
- now it doesnt turn over (not even a click), all i hear is the fuel pump.
Starter motor?

im pretty sure thats its what joins the relay to the motor. Try make another one out of another conductive metal and see if it fixes it.
to get the starter out, just take the shield of, and there is one bolt on either side.

Once the plunger has engaged the ring gear, that copper thing then gets the power to spin the motor part which is the bottom "cylinder"
So I would just get a new one anyway.

ok some1 suggested to smack the starter motor and after doing so, its almost wants to crank....
so does this suggest its a starter motor issue?

That is correct, starter is dead. Check what local wreckers are open and go from there, some *may* be open on public holidays...*may*

Theres only 2 that hold the starter motor on mate.
Make sure you disconnect the battery first as the + to the starter motor is UNFUSED and cause alot of damage if shorted out.
