I am considering installing an ignition timing interceptor on my dual fuel TJ and would like to know if anyone has the timing maps so i have a reference to program the correct advance on the LPG map
cheers

He has a Ramano VSi system, I believe.

if you have an svi system did they play with the timing at all? Unless you make the switch over automatic and you play with the lpg advance, it could be bad if you then switch back to petrol. thought of going dedicated?

the romano svi system afaik doesnt intercept timing only injector pulse and the timing can only be adjusted via the CAS signal.
the unit i will use runs separate maps for LPG and petrol.

if that is the case, then Apexi make a ingtion advance/retard interceptor i forget what is it called, and it can be coupled to a SAFC also from apexi to give you average control of fuel and timing, based on rpm and load (tps signal)
woudlnt know if i would be dicking around with it though

lpg needs +15 degrees of timing but no more than 45 degrees due to its high octane there are a plethora of interceptors out there and although the one i want to use has knock sensing i need the standard timing maps to tune it properly

As the SVI system has its own seperate ECU, best to get the car dyno tuned on gas by someone who knows that particualr gas system and software.
I had mine tuned and gained a massive amount of power and torque over the generic LPG ECU tune.

mine has been tuned but i want to take advantage of the 110 octane rating of LPG hence the need to remap the timing for LPG

An issue i can see coming up though is there's only one place in perth that sells 100% propane (110 octane),and if you had to fill up at any other service station the octane rating could be as low as 98 depending on the propane/butane mix ratio. However just say you tune for whatever is in the tank on that day the octane rating might be 106 then your next tank could be 100 so there's a high chance of doing damage to the engine.
I'm quite sleep deprived at the moment so i hope you see what i'm getting at.
