Hey i got the whole lot out, was gonna replace the globes with little LED's to change the colour, got down to the dials....and had absolutley no idea how to detach the needles without breaking them so i couldn't get to the globes :rant:
Anyone know how this is done? (looking at killbilly here :) )

the lights just twist and pop out the back. which ones cant you get to?

i took off the front black section (and the clear plate) and was looking at the lights from the top.
so the acutal holder itself comes out the back??
or just the globe??

yeah ok i understand now. the whole cluster comes out and you pop the lights out of the back. very simple really.

oh so when you can see the lights, just push em and they'll pop out the other side?? and then push the neqw lights in from the bottom?
i get the feeling that i'm being slow here, but i really don't wanna stuff this up.

When you take the cluster out, you dont need to open the cluster up itself or take out the dials.

The globes have twist lock bases that you simply turn and pull out of the back of the cluster.

at least i don't have to take it all apart again :D

you didnt need to take it apart in the first place! now you have though it would be a good chance to paint anything you might want to.
