Hey Guys,

I'm looking at purchasing a new dash cluster and the TJ ralliart one has tickled my fancy, however I wanted to know of its compatibility.

Any help would be appreciated, as well as how ( DIY) or where to get it fitted in Perth WA

Regards Jeromy

If it's a tj s2 onwards (tj ralliart is s2) the cluster is plug and play with a tl/tw. You can take it to your Mitsubishi dealer or an auto electrician or you can do it yourself, it will take you under 10 min to do. To remove your old cluster and put the new one in its 6 screws the wiring.
1. First lower the steering wheel to it's lowest level remove the 2 black screws to remove the cluster surround. Pull the cluster surround away from the dash carefully. You will hear it unclip from the bottom on each side.
2 Disconnect the plugs from the cluster surround and put it aside.
3 You will see 4 screws on each corner of the cluster, remove them and pull the cluster out slightly to disconnect the plugs from the back, then completely remove it.
4 put the new one in do the above process in reverse and your done

thanks for the info, one more question, i am guessing as it is a new cluster it will not show the correct amount of kilometres on the odometer, or is there a way to keep that recording?

thanks jeromy

Nup, playing with the odometer is an offence I believe, so you won't be able to (legally) change it.

I don't quite understand the implication of swapping the instrument cluster out though.

Are you considering the red one? I'm considering it too!
