Do I feel stoopid!!! :woot:
Daylight saving came, and I adjusted the clocks around the place and in cars. Except one! Has a Pioneer CD/mp3 player in it, can't remember how to set the time! Have a manual for it somewhere, but it seems to be hiding . . .
Anyone have a quick response?

What model is it? I have a DEH-6850MP, and to change the clock, you have to turn the unit off and then hold down a button (I think it's the rotary control wheel). That gives you the setup options where you can change the clock.

Mine's a lot older DEH-2850mp, but I figured it out, by trial and error. Hold down the "audio" (WTF) button for 3 sec with the thing turned on, then use the left, right buttons to select hours or minutes and up,down buttons to set the time. All very logical, not! The process on yours sounds a lot more logical.
Thanks for your help, it motivated me to go and try again! lol

Failing that , you could try this :http://audio.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/pioneer/deh2850mp.html
Never used the site before but it seems it has your manual in PDF.

Yeah I have a 3850 and its the rotary control wheel when off as well. You then have to cycle through the options. This is also where you set whether you want the rear speakers and the amplifier output to an external amplifier to be full range (default), subwoofer output, or off.
The subwoofer output (only) to rear speakers does work quite well, but your speakers need to be able to handle it. A dedicated subwoofer would be much more effective of course but for good balanced sound its ok. The crossover frequencies etc can be chosen when in operating mode. From memory this is how it is set anyway! Then of course you have an adjustable high pass filter for the front speakers and the adjustable Front Image Enhancer.
I know that hasn't got anything to do with the clock, but no doubt you may come across a setting or two that you didn't know was there so thought I might mention some of them (some probably aren't available on the 2850).
I also have the singaporean model which has a different head on it. Its silver and the display has a blue led lit background with an LCD display, makes it easy to read even in bright light. I believe the Australian 2850/3850 etc went to the black face with the hard to read display? Other than that I believe the functions are the same.

I have the manual on disc (somewhere) and on paper (somewhere) lol Originally got it when I bought the player second hand to work out how to best burn mp3 CDs to work with it, and set everything up then. A very comprehensive set of features, just not too logical on the setup procedures. lol Still, the sound is excellent, so I'm not complaining.
