Hi Guys,
Bought my very nice KE Verada a short time ago, and was supplied 2 remotes with it.
One had been opened, the battery appeared to be "spot welded" to a strip soldered to the PCB.
Obviously I want to change batteries, the dealer handbook that came with the car says to prise
open the remote and simply replace the battery. Not going to happen in this case!
The remote is a single button unit, which I have seen on ebay for around the $100 mark. Please tell me that there is another way around this apart from spending $100 to replace a $3 battery!!!!
Thanks in advance.
