hey guys im looking to retrim my door cards though i have no idea in taking them out. iv been reading other posts... is it true i have to remove the whole inner door. or is it simply a matter of removing the inner door handle and pulling out the door card... by the way i got a 98 tf magna with manual windows...thanks

if its the same as my car you gotta remove your door panel, which is easy as anyways, only a few screws then it pops of. but you do need to undo your door handle as well. then at the back of the door panel there should be a few screws holding onto it. hope that makes some sense lol

if youve got manual windows ull also need to take the window winder off first before u can get the door panel off. if my memory serves me correct u have to stick a flathead screwdriver behind the handle and then turn the window winder to make the window come down. should pop off and a little wire latch thing that looks like a horse shoe should also come with it. dont lose it coz ull need it later when u put the winder back on.

sry mate i was referring to the door cards around the inner door handle..where its got the fabric around it.

ah ok, gotcha now. TBH I don't think there is any difference, I put 3 different sets in mine last year, never knew whether they came out of a manual or fast glass door, fit just fine.

i cant see y they would be different. winders dont affect the door cards so id say there the same.

I have 3 types of door cards at the moment the manual winder of a TH exec, fast glass from a TJ and fast glass from a TL, and all the cards are interchangeable. the only ones that are different are from the US Diamante which has a cut-out on the passenger side.

I know this is an old post, but it's the only one on the door cards so instead of creating a new thread, figured I may as well recycle lol. 97 TF, is there any way to take off the tiny bit of card on the doors without removing the whole panel or am I stuck to waiting for a dry day to get the whole panel off?
