I was thinking if i remove the rear muffler n put a strate pipe in its place would it sound better or to loud? Im not after performance so exhaust change is not needed.....

this is for the stock piping right? don't remove the muffler. if u want a decent growl get another muffler, perhaps a lukey hi-flow. anything else will make it sound like plain #$@%!
its not too expensive ay... maybe get a resonator too. maybe $200 for the lot? could b alittle less, but i wouldnt recommend tryin to modify the stock exhaust system

hmm yer ull find it would sound like crap, it would defently be louder but it would be really crap, sports mufflers have damering in it (glass stuff cant remember the proper name) that makes the sound resonate deeper and they make them flow more to get a louder noise and increase the power.

yer if u go for a repipe consider either keepin the original resonator or get a new one cos that will alter the sound alot, it will make it deeper

Yer i got a quote for a lukey ultraflow muffler $140 installed and 2 1/4 pipe up to the join near the wheel

i paid 290 for 2 1/4 catback with a lukey hotdog and ultraflow and the first time you drive it, its so dam loud, you give it some just to hear it, but i guess i do that these days too, definantly alot deeper, definantly alot loud.. it'd be what your after. i also got a 55 or so dollar tip so if you dont want a shiney bit stickin out the bum my price would keep inline with the other boys, its not what you know, its who ya know.
