does anyone evr have a problem where in the morning the car will start perfect but if you drive around and leave it soemwere for like 2 hours you go to start it and it takes a bit longer to kick over and when you do start it it misses for like the 1st 5 sec and then it will settle like the mixture or something like that is wrong or like the fuel injectors flood the engine or something this is a 1st gen tp efi im talking about
nope, our car starts after 3 or 4 turns and runs nice n smoothly, everytime.
sounds like you may have a fuel pressure problem or something? like it has to build up?
thats my 2 cents

yeah well i dont know but my mum had a tm and it did the same thing i got told it could be the injectors dripping when i turn the engine up and having excess buildup in the engine when i turn the key so the computer try to adjust the mixture 4 the excess fuel but when the car kicks over that fuel will just blow away then the car will run to rich or something like that for the first 5 sec

Yeah, I had the same problem too... If your car is anything like mine, then you might be on the first stages towards the engine shutting down completely. My engine at first done the same thing... throughout the day, on occasions, my car would start missing. This continued until one afternoon the car shut down alltogether.
It turns out the problem was the distributer failing... I got this replaced and the car has run fine since.
I must warn you that this might not be the same problem on your car as mine, but I'll advise you to have a check of your engine electrical system...
My car did that once, only after i left it sit for long weekend. started on 3 cylinders then within a couple of seconds i fired up fine. never had the problem since.
I asked a few of my mechanicaly minded mates and they said Fuel pressure regulator not holding pressure while the car is parked. it is normal to see if you leave it for a week or two, but not 2 hours
next time you leave it sit for a while before you start it, turn the key to on possition but don't start it. wait 5- 10 seconds than kick it over.
