Hi Guys. Just installed some Sony 6by9's in my car. Quite happy with the better sound but really have to change the headunit-its crap. Unfortunately as the unit is the double tape and 4 stacker stocko system I am unsure of what to do- put in a normal sized unit or go for the double ones with yehar displays on them. Bit concerned about how the front surround will look if I just got the single. Any ideas or photos would be a great help. Thanks

i have kenwood double DIN in my car (u might remember it from the bbq the other week).

anyways what i would recommend is a Clarion double din h/u i saw on the www.clarion.com.au website recently. looks really nice and i think would blend in well with magna dash. RRP was $750 or so but bargaining around i reckon u could get it for close to $550. It had all the usual features, 50W x 4, I will try find a pic.

it took my interest cos maybe down the track i will replace my double din (i dont need Mini-Disc).

howdie, its really ur choice, you can buy the single din or double din headunit. if you brought the single din you could either go to mitsubishi dealership and ask for the console tray (the hole where u can put **** in underneath the h/u) or you can go to the wreckers and get one or you could buy a cd holder to go in there.
