Not happy Jan . . . . . warped and cracked rotors.

Last owner of my TS 2.6L sedan put new rotors on the front, have done 70,000 Km. They have developed a low speed unevenness and at times a high speed judder. Pulled one rotor off and found what looks like surface cracks on both the inner and outer surface, plus the usual grooving. Brake pads are half way worn, so I assume the car has used 1 and 1/2 sets of pads in that distance.
Ordered a set of new DBA rotors, $70 each, and new pads, to be picked up tomorrow.

Questions:
How do you identify the make of the old rotors? Stamped on there? Couldn't find anything.
Which model of DBA rotor is better, and which am I likely to get for $70 each?
Are the new ones going to crap out in another 70,000 km?

My other TS V6 has twin pot callipers with ABS and brakes smoothly. Don't know if the rotors are original though.

you will just get standard "blank" Rotors for $70 each. And no your new ones should last a while mate, sounds like the last owners gave that car a hard time. We've never had that happen. By we I mean my parents, and then me owning the TR.

No problems. Get the new bits tomorrow, degrease the discs, put them on, all fixed. Shouldn't take more than an hour or so. Might just pop the pistons out to clean out 15 years of accumulated rubber grot, lube the pins, use fresh fluid and then bleed the system. Easy as. Should be good for another 15 years. lol

Make sure you use brake cleaner :P Back in my learning days I actually did degrease the disc's....wondered why the car took 400m to stop from 30km/h.
If your going to that extent I'd probably say 90 minutes, I did all 4 corners of the Diamante in 120 minutes flat. (pads, disc's)
