i cant be bothered putting speakers into the doors of my ts so i just want to replace the front dash mounted ones with a better set. does anyone know how to get them out??? i cant seem to find anyway of getting at them with out prying the mesh off them with a crowbar. also what size are they? 4"?

Trust me its 1000 times easier to put speakers in your doors then even bother to replace the dash mounted ones. I tried when i had my TS and it was a horrible horrible job so i just cut them off and mounted some pioneer splits to the doors. To get the out i think you have to pry of the mesh, don't waste your time going from underneath the dash, you'll basically have to remove the whole dash to do it that way...

oh well guess ill have to then. probably just put some small ones in. would 6" fit ok straight into the trim or will i have to raise them?

I have 6.5" splits in my doors..they fit easily.

Oh and in reference to the dash speakers, you have to find really shallow speakers to fit in there, there's f*ck all room.
