Looks like they are getting to a very affordable level.
This car is a gift at the price, they alsop have it on ebay, I offered $7500 and it accepted my bid.
120,000 k's isn't a hell of a lot.....

Was thinking of buying it as a hack for projects if it was cheap enough....:)
First model. Base model. 5 years old. 1/3rd of price new. Sounds about right for the usual Mitsubishi depreciation :)

Makes you wonder what the dealer paid for it??
Just being black should add a grand

I've noticed a lot of inconsistency around pricing with the 380s from dealerships. Some still want $17-18K for a Series 1 or 2 ES, admittedly with lowish (50K) kms. Definitely pays to shop around.

A 380 is great value for under 10 grand. Just a pitty when I go to sell my car, it probably will only be worth 10 grand. Damn depreciation! lol

Just a heads up folks! If you come across a car that is too nice for the price, just remember a lot of cars got flooded up north recently, and from past experience dealers clean and then move these "wet" cars south and west and sold to unsuspecting customers. Have a whiff when you get into the car, if it smells musty, have a look at the spare wheel well for rust, rust stained carpets etc. Just be aware . . . .

I just got a friend a SX with all the fog lamps, alloys etc, sunroof, for $12500 with about 65kms, there stoked, and couldnt believe the price difference for what you get in a commodore or falcon , and you get more goodies

Pickles on line auctions is a good way to get the price people are willing to pay for ex-govt cars. 380s go cheaper than commos or falcons, thats for sure!

100% right mate, know a mechanic who does just that. What with all the flooding we've had around Qld in recent months I spose there would be a few. But you can be lucky ,just find out where its from maybe

If you replace the carpets, dry it out and air freshener and the car is like new, its clean water not sea water.
I would still buy a flood damaged car.

Not for full price you wouldn't, not if the seller keeps it a secret you wouldn't.
The problem is its muddy water, not clean water. There will be mud in unreachable places, drying out slowly. Clay in the mud will soak up any moisture in the air once its dry, so when it rains, there will be moist mud in the car, taking its time drying out. Humidity rises inside the car and collects in higher places, with the hot/cold day/night cycle. A few years of this and rust breaks out in places Magnas rarely rust in. lol Seen it on a Toyota, strip of rust all around the rear screen, strips along all of the bottom of the doors. Car was eventually junked.

This is a seriously rare one....
It has sunroof, is a series 3, manual transmission and is LPG compatible.
I have never seen a manual 380 that is LPG compatible.

EDIT...I rang them and got them to check the head, its not LPG compatible.....told them it was false advertising...:)

A manual 380 is a rare thing in itself.
