Good Morning all,

Firstly I have been searching for the last hour but cant find the answer

Background: I have a TF sports and have removed all the dash and most of the wiring, Im putting in the complete main harness under the dash from a TH VERADA into my TF. basically every things pugged in and it starts but doesnt fire (i think imboliser),

1. Does anyone know a step by step guide for removing the key barrel from its housing on a third gen?

2. Can I just change ECU, ie can i just unplug my TF 3.0L and put in a TH 3.5L, Im having imobilzer issues.

3. Also my climate control doesnt blow air just moves the vents, is there a second computer for the climate control besides the head unit. Or can some1 give my the low down on how the climate control unit works, ie which and where are the control units and recievers.

4. If anyone has available can they sent me a pic of the wiring on the cruise control, from behind the steering wheel. ie the yellow connector from the twisting steering wheel housing that goes direct into the wheel controls

Thank you every body, cant wait to have a verada interior in my TF sports

On the second gen the key barrel is easy to get out, put the key in on ACC and push a button on the side, barrel pulls out, but this trips the imobiliser if the car has one, so be careful! Donno about 3rd gen though. IIRC you need to keep the key, barrel, ecu and bem together from the one car if you want to avoid imobiliser problems. Or send the original ECU to Madmagna to have the imobiliser part of the ECU disabled.
