Howdy
Has anyone ever changed the front wheel tyre studs? We have a case (Magna TJ) where the thread on one stud is bit busted and we might need to replace it. Can they be changed individually?
We are now running on 4 nuts instead of 5 and it's not really....

Heheheeee - nasty. But true.
I called Mitsu, they are sold separately and cost ~ 8 bux ea. Dunno tho if I'm gonna try it my self. Might need to take the car to Richard at Liverpool Pedders and ask him to press the crap out of it - literally.
Thanks.

and the bloody rest megatron

compliments of an adelaide mitsi dealership.... after taking my KS in for a complete braking system replacement... ($750 - $800)

on the 1st of the 9th 2003 i had my full braking system replaced....
2nd of the 9th 2003 i was unable to stop as a friggen toyota camry pulled a right hand turn in front of me....

on begining to pull my car apart to be fixed the crash repairer called my dad to tell us a contributing factor to my accident could have indeed been that the mitsi dealership whom worked on my car had snapped wheel studs and cross threaded others.... and then released the vehicle to be driven on the road.

on completion of crash repairs i then drove her into this dealership and laid down the fact it was thier fault.... service manager agreed it was thier fault.... but yet still offered to let me drive it away and bring it back next day  . any ways left it with them over night, they fixed it... when i came the next day to pick it up they had charged me ( after saying it was because of thier workmanship) $250.00 to replace all broken and cross threaded wheel studs. I GOT RIPPED.

anyways jus thought i'd share my experience, sorry :)
