Curious if owners of AWD's have fitted a Magnaflow muffler. If so what part number.

I contacted a distributor and quoted part number 14832 for a popular muffler used by some FWD members, but the muffler doesn't allow for a offset inlet which I need for the AWD.

Any help?????

the 14832 is an 8" x 5" x 14" long oval muffler, but it only has a 57mm (2 1/4") inlet... surely you want a 63mm (2 1/2") inlet?

8" x 5" x 14" oval Magnaflow offset mufflers are:

14225 offset to centre, 57mm inlet
14226 offset to centre, 63mm inlet
14235 offset to offset, 57mm inlet
14236 offste to offset, 63mm inlet

these don't have tips, but are about $40 - $60 cheaper than the one with a tip.

I have one fitted. You'll need the biggest one you can possibly find to keep the drone to a minimum.

This muffler (http://www.bestmufflers.com/bshop/product_info.php?cPath=125_145_528&products_id=1764&osCsid=e75dcea41972d1d34447a2913fb33691) is probably what you're after. You could go smaller, but be prepared for a very noisy car inside.

These guys will need to order it in, but with the $$ the way it is at the moment, you might be better sourcing it from Ebay.

Aren't they Australian as per this website they list both Magnaflow Stainless Steel and Supercat Mild steel sold by Supercat Converters Pty Ltd.

I have a couple of virtually new Supercat Triflow Mufflers (1000km max) I got off FOOZRCOOL last year.

Unfortunately the link & photos has now been removed since the new forum format but they were cut off his twin exhaust 380 as he still found them too loud. They have opposite offsets so one would surely fit. They do need to be welded on and dont have tips currently fitted but I have 3 brand new double lip Stainless polished ones that could be attached, twoare oval and one square and are fit over and bolt designs so a mild steel exit pipe can be welded to the mild steel muffler can cheaply to fit. I think they are this model in Mild Steel SCP-8514250

Magnaflow is American, I believe.

Supercat are the main distributors. But plenty of other suppliers sell them.
