Hey everyone, i have a quick question about handbrakes,
I snapped my cable at the join on the rear lh wheel, what parts do i need to buy to fix this? ie whole cable or just one side. Thanks

just one side.. you sure you actually snapped the cable?
cos i broke the little tab/bracket that holds it to the assembly and that side did not have any sort of tension what so ever... i just tig'd it back together :)

snapped the lug on the end of the cable im pretty sure, i havent really had a good look yet, but its all frayed and dangleing.
how much will one of these set me back?

Just ring Aussie auto - i have found them to be good on price and can get just about anything

My cable also snapped a while ago so I had to replace it....it took Mitsu dealer 4 weeks to get the part in....the other side then stretched during those 4 weeks and had to replace both,,,,from what I remember they were around $75 each..parts only.
