hey guys i own a 96 TE with 314xxxk's on it and i have only owned it for about 2 months. Anyway one day i spotted an oil leak and then i had it booked in with my mechanics for an inspection and i was told that there were 4 spots on the car where oil was leaking from, the cv joint needs replacing, a wheel bearing squeals at low speeds and the timing belt needed doing. On the day i had them replace the timing belt and i didnt the front rocker cover (although i think the rear one is leaking worse) and i was just wondering (preferably in SA)

How much would i be looking at a 3.5Litre motor fitted ?

Also my car is manual and i want a bit more grunt !

3.5L fitted about $1000-$1200 depending on mechanic and how efficient they are. Can pick up a 2nd hand 3.5L for about $500. I'd be doing a full service on it while it's out of the car.
