I have the opportunity to get an Audison SRX3
3 Channel Amp
With the specs of
OUTPUT POWER (RMS) @ 13.8 VDC; THD 1%:
- 4 Ohms.......................75W X 2 + 250W
- 2X4 Ohms + 2 Ohms......65W X 2 + 340W
- 2X2 Ohms + 4 Ohms......110W X 220W
- 2 Ohms.......................95W X 2 + 315W

And it got the 'Mobile Amplifier of the Year 2003/2004 (EISA)'

I have the better jaycar splits and a 400 watt RMS Pioneer sub ( i would change the sub if required)

Has any one had or used audison gear before.
I have a 4 x 100 Jaycar amp ATM. And I can get the SRX3 for under 250.00.
I will have it professionally checked before I get it though.

Great amp! Have sold quite a few and fitted most of them. It is essetially they're mono and baby 2 channel in the same chassis. One question tho. Is it the older model or the newer one?

Its the Blue, not the black one, does that sound right.

Yeah the Audison SRx are a great amp as super_sheep has said.

The blue ones are the older ones - not much different to the newer black ones.

I had an SRx2s and still have a SRx2 ( blue case ). No issues with the bigger one, smaller amp did blow an input cap ( probably my fault ) but that was an easy fix. Have been running the SRx2 for over 4 years now. :D

Highly recommended.

marty, audison amps are excellent i had LXR4 in the magna now sitting here doing nothing, but i would look at getting a higher powered amp

SRX3 will be better than the jaycar but if you could tell the difference i doubt it, but it would be perfect for the 380

i don't think $250 is a great price the amp is probably about 6yrs old
