Hi
My TH seems to ride rough ie; I seem to feel every bump especially in the rear just wondering how they normally ride as I have only had it a couple of weeks (my old TN is much smoother).
Just had it serviced they checked the shocks and springs and said they were fine, the tyre pressure was 29psi in the front and 28psi in the rear the guys said they should be around 38psi front and rear, yet the sticker on the door says F 29psi - R 26psi, the tyres are Federal 205/65R 15 95H - the car has done 237 400Km.
Tried the 38psi front & rear but the ride was no better.

Good quality gas struts needed on the rear if the ones on your car are originals. How did they check your shocks and springs? Higher tyre pressure will show bumps up more.

Wouldn't pump them that hard for every day use. I've found 31 front 29 rear good mix between comfort and performance. Sounds like something else is wrong though if you're getting significant feedback from the rear..

I keep mine at 38-42 or so. I have driven around at the recommended pressures, and I honestly can't say there's much of a difference. Harsher, but nothing dramatic.
I'd guess it's more suspension related. Do you know if the springs/shocks are factory spec? It may be possible that someone has replaced them with a stiffer setup somewhere along the line. Just my guess anyway. :)

My V6 TS runs 205/65R 15 tyres too. I put 32 psi in them, front and back as its a wagon. Nice soft ride, no uneven tyre wear, original shocks and springs. The OP needs to get his car onto a suspension tester to see what is going on. Seized shocks can be terrible! lol Perhaps it is lowered with high rate springs and shocks?

They visual tested them when they had it on the hoist & and done the push up and down test when it was on the ground.
