Howdy all :)
The front brake discs on my TS are at their minimum and it is now time for me to get new ones (they are warped etc)...
I dont have much money, so what is the best option here? what retailers are good? does it really matter if I just go with cheap ones?

Any advice will help.

Cheers,
Pickles

I got my rotor shave so they are not wrap, it cheaper than brand new ones. I took my car to my local tyre shop they did the brakes and rotors it was cheap enough. I can't rember how much it cost :)

Yeah but the discs are at their minimum. Cant shave them off without shaving them off literally :P

I paid $170 for DBA rotors and pads, for TS non ABS. Pretty reasonable. Whoops I meant RDA 421 rotors and pads, just checked the boxes.

DBA blanks will set you back about $63 each and ferodo zero pads $45, so what Madmax is right on the money...and NO there is NOTHING wrong with cheap disc's (DBA/RDA not chinese stuff)

If you have a V6 all 3rd gen V6 rotors will fit aswell.

if not, take a set of digital calipers to the wreckers and get a pair with heaps of meat left there, then looking at $15-$20 a rotor to machine, so there is a potential $40 saving by getting used rotors if you can get a set of rotors for $40 if you dont mind a bit of labor

Fair enough! I have just done the pads so I might just get some DBA rotors then... cbf with the machining and stuff :P

Got mine through Parts Boys at Elizabeth but they had to order them in, I guess any car place local to you could do so as well.
