should be ok, the only thing that may go wrong is the battery may go flat. You can always jump start it though

Disconnect the battery all should be fine just when u go to restart it just let it idle for 5 minutes and make sure u have the handbrake off all should be good.

if you start it and dont run it for long enough every week or so, it can cause condensation in the exhaust, making it rust prematurley.

Remember if needed Seby - I can always drop by and start your car for you, I can tune the homelink for your garage door LOL.

Keep it in mind - I drive past your house / area every day so its no problem.

Dude my car has been sitting on the yard for months and she still runs 100% ..... there's nothing wrong with a car sitting there... just when you start the engine for the first time after you've left it off for a while (i.e. a few weeks) then let it run for a fair amount of time and don't rev it or anything... let the oil get mixed around and heat up.....also run the aircon/heater as dust is probably gonna collect in the vents.... meh no biggie... don't worry about it.... there are plenty of people that have cars that sit there unused for weeks and they're fine....

Actually, running it once a week is not a good idea. I didn't drive my car for 2 months, but fired it up once a week, for 5 minutes. Battery still went flat. Just disconnect it, if the car is due for a coolant or oil change do that before it is put away. You might notice some hydraulic lifter rattle when you fire it up, but thats no problem. Just warm it up for a minute or two, then go for a 20 minute drive in it to charge the battery a bit and get everything up to working temperature.

Actually, running once a week is good, but for twenty minutes or so, getting a good charge to the battery, and to avoid premature rusting (see above). 5 minutes is detremental to your car.

When I was working for a car transport and maintenance/storage firm. We ran an indicator while charging, whilst I've heard people argue that it is pointless, it was pretty much standard routine Australia wide (within the comany) to do this.
