alrite i have got everything perfect cept for one thing. I cant get my power lead through the firewall of my 98 TF magna. the gap between the two holes seems to be around a corner or something rather than straight.

Ive tried putting a coathanger wire down but it seems to get stuck on stuff and it never makes it out the other hole. Can somebody tell me a better way of doing it or maybe i need to bend the coathanger into certain shape?

Cheerz.

It is my understanding that you can use the one cable, you just have to get a splitter device to split the power cable into 2.

yeh i recently added another amp to my system. Originally i had 8 gauge power wire running the whole way. I bought 2 metres of 4 guage and taped the **** out of it onto the end of the existing 8 gauge wire, then from inside the cabin i pulled it through the grommet in the firewall that the 8 gauge was already punched through.

Then I bought a power distribution block (mine was one 4 guage wire into as many as four 8 gauge wires) for about $13 and wallah, i had two 8 gauge power wires for the two amps

thanks tons!, these ideas sound preddy good to me.

another option i was thinkn was running the sub amp off a seperate car battery. if u didnt hook it up to the generator how much use could i get before i needed to recharge the battery?

yeah, if u want to run two amps, just get a distru block like tim-e said. as for the sub amp, i think running the amp off stock power compnents will be fine...unless u have something HARDCORE.
